At the PLSA Annual Conference & Exhibition 2019, we announced the launch of our new Hitting the Target widget.

With 70% of employees stating that having a target would encourage them to save more (PLSA research), Hitting the Target helps employees set a retirement income goal and take steps to improve their retirement lifestyle.

The interactive animated widget has been designed to help employees focus on their life after work and understand the income needed to support their retirement lifestyle. Designed as a fun and interactive questionnaire, Hitting the Target enables employees to build a picture of their retirement lifestyle by answering simple multiple-choice questions on topics including their home, travel and leisure pursuits.

As users interact with the widget, an animated living room scene is populated with items based on their answers, creating a complete personalised picture of their life after work. The integrated maths engine calculates the income required to support the desired lifestyle and presents a retirement income target and the monthly savings required to achieve it.
